As Via Anatolia, we invite you on a unique journey in the heart of the Taurus Mountains, where nature and history intertwine. In this stage, we begin at Bolay Plateau—one of the most special and untouched parts of the Zengibar Trail—and descend to the Olukönü area. From here, we follow the old caravan routes, cross the Ayıboğazı Canyon, and finally reach our last stop, Bolay Village—perched like an eagle’s nest—accompanied by the panoramic view of Çetmi Waterfall.

Our hike will start early in the morning from Bolay Plateau. The plateau’s high altitude, fresh air, and serene atmosphere create a fairy-tale like feeling.

The trails then lead us to Olukönü, where we take a short break surrounded by pristine nature and tranquility. As we continue toward Ayıboğazı Canyon, the valley’s dramatic silhouettes, steep cliffs, and traces of the ancient caravan road greet you with their grandeur—as if inviting hikers into a journey through history. From here, we gradually continue our way accompanied by the views of Çetmi Waterfall toward the final destination: Bolay Village. Here, traditional stone houses, historical fountains, and traces of rural life await us. After our final break in the village square, we begin our return.

This hiking route is ideal for experienced hikers. It requires challenging trails, elevation changes, and a consistent pace. But with every step you take, there is an adventure full of life—every breath opens a window into time itself.
